A completely unspoiled fishing territory awaits you where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Caribbean sea at the western tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. Nestled inside the Ria Lagartos National Park, just 2.5 hours northwest of Cancun, our lodge offers Fly and Light Tackle tarpon fishing in one of the most undisturbed tarpon fisheries  in the world. These waters harbor  vast schools of tarpon, ranging in sizes from 5 to 50 pounds, that are not easy to retrieve and will challenge your skills with their acrobatic resistance.

The fishing terrain options are varied and rich in opportunities. Fish can be found in shallow waters and schools come rolling next to the boat offering opportunities for a catch to even the not so skilled casters. In addition, the most experience angler’s abilities will be put to the test when fishing on the vast mangrove shore lines, creeks, and salt water rivers, that run across the region harboring challenging schools of baby tarpon.
